S I N O P S I S

Prince Albert (Colin Firth) memang tak pernah berharap menjadi raja Inggris. Ia tahu benar keterbatasan yang ia miliki. Tak mungkin ia memimpin sebuah negara sebesar Inggris sementara berbicara di depan umum saja sudah jadi perjuangan berat buatnya. Celakanya takdir berkata lain dan Albert harus segera naik tahta.

Sepeninggal Raja George V (Michael Gambon), Prince Edward (Guy Pearce) yang seharusnya naik tahta namun karena Edward lebih memilih melepas tahta dan menikahi Wallis Simpson (Eve Best), tak ada pilihan lain buat Albert selain mengambil alih tampuk kekuasaan. Albert tahu kalau ini bukan urusan mudah, apalagi Perang Dunia II sudah di depan pintu. Ia harus mampu mengatasi kekurangannya.

Untungnya, Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter), tak pernah menyerah. Setelah mencoba beberapa dokter untuk menyembuhkan gagap yang diderita Albert, Elizabeth lantas mencoba metode yang lebih tak lazim. Ia meminta Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush), seorang terapis dengan metode aneh, untuk menyembuhkan suaminya.

Dengan tekad yang kuat dan bimbingan dari Lionel, Albert akhirnya berhasil sembuh. Dari seorang pria gagap, Albert menjadi seorang raja yang mampu berpidato dan membakar semangat seluruh warga Inggris untuk menghadapi Perang Dunia II.

S I N O P S I S

Sita terkejut ketika mendengar kabar dari pos Jagawana Gunung Sarangan bahwa Gancar, adik Sita, dan beberapa temannya sudah dua hari tidak melapor ke pos satu. Para petugas di sana khawatir bahwa Gancar dan teman-temannya telah hilang di tengah jalur pendakian. Khawatir dengan keselamatan adiknya, Sita lantas mengajak Oji untuk ikut ke Gunung Sarangan untuk mencari Gancar.

Tanpa sepengetahuan Sita dan Oji, Bagus kemudian mendatangi Tito yang sempat mengalami kejadian serupa yang akhirnya menyebabkan hilangnya Norman sahabat karibnya. Karena trauma, Tito kemudian memutuskan untuk mengasingkan diri dari teman-temannya. Untungnya rasa kemanusiaan akhirnya membuat Tito yang semula tak mau ikut akhirnya datang juga untuk membantu tim pencari.

Ada sebuah mitos bahwa Gunung Sarangan dijaga oleh makhluk halus dan siapa pun yang mendaki gunung ini harus mematuhi syarat-syarat dan larangan yang sudah ada sejak turun temurun. Dan perjalanan Tito kali ini akhirnya membuka tabir misteri hilangnya Norman beberapa tahun sebelumnya. Yang jadi masalah adalah bagaimana menemukan Gancar dan teman-temannya yang diduga telah 'disembunyikan' para penunggu Gunung Sarangan karena melanggar larangan yang ada.

Film bergenre thriller dengan bumbu-bumbu mistis ini adalah hasil arahan sutradara Affandi Abdul Rachman yang didasarkan pada naskah karya Syamsul Hadi.

Essentially a prequel to David Lynch and Mark Frost’s earlier TV series “Twin Peaks”. The first half-hour or so concerns the investigation by FBI Agent Chet Desmond (Chris Isaak) and his partner Sam Stanley (Kiefer Sutherland) into the murder of night-shift waitress Teresa Banks in the small Washington state town of Deer Meadow. When Desmond finds a mysterious clue to the murder, he inexplicably disappears. The film then cuts to one year later in the nearby town of Twin Peaks and follows the events during the last week in the life of Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) a troubled teenage girl with two boyfriends; the hot-tempered rebel Bobby Briggs (Dana Ashbrook) and quiet biker James Hurley (James Marshall), her drug addiction, and her relationship with her difficult (and possible schizophrenic) father Leland (Ray Wise), a story in which her violent murder was later to motivate much of the TV series. Contains a considerable amount of sex, drugs, violence, very loud music and inexplicable imagery.
